Creative Director Jefferson Eliot heads up the creative team at RED. Educated in theatre at Pomona College and set design NYU, he got his start in themed entertainment as an Imagineer at Disney, painting and scarring the pirate’s faces for Tokyo Disneyland. Jefferson’s career in themed entertainment includes stints at Rethink LE as Sr. Creative Director and Art Director, at Riva as Sr. Art Director (for Motiongate, Dubai), and at Landmark Entertainment as Concept Designer, Art Director and Master Planner. In the nineties, he ran his own design company, JECD, which developed concepts for theme parks, urban entertainment centers, brands, and computer games. Clients included Golden Harvest Films (HK), Universal Studios and McGraw Hill. Way back, Jefferson was production designer on Shelly Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre and lead art director for Activision. In addition, Jefferson is also a screenwriter and member of the Writer’s Guild of America.
